About Nicky Cheung
Nicky is a British born Chinese actor, writer, screen-combatant and model. He honed his acting skills at the International Academy of Film & TV in Hong Kong having previously trained extensively for screen-combat at the British Action Academy as well as on bootcamps on feature film sets as a SPACT in the UK. He continues his on-going acting training with City Lit Theater Company and local community theatre productions. He has been modelling since he was 20 in both the UK and Asia.
Nicky’s acting highlights include playing opposite BAFTA nominee John Simm in the ITV drama, STRANGERS, opposite comedian Nigel Ng as a series regular on Comedy Central’s EAST MODE and five different roles in THE LARAMIE PROJECT at The John Lyon’s Theatre, London. Nicky has used his voice-over skills in corporate films and dubbing for features while his improvisation skills have been used in Secret Cinema’s immersive theatre productions of MILLER’S CROSSING and BACK TO THE FUTURE. He is currently pitching his first feature-length screenplay, GROUND ZERO and an untitled mini-series and will also be playing Blackadder in BLACKADDER GOES FORTH on stage at The Talisman Theatre, Kenilworth in summer 2023. |
