About Jamie Body
Jamie is an entertainment journalist, presenter, and content creator in London. He combines his years as a performer with his journalism qualifications and passion for storytelling to excel in the world of showbiz coverage.
From attending movie premieres to treading the red carpet at the Olivier Awards and BAFTA TV Awards, Jamie can adapt to cover any cultural event. He has even diced with danger, presenting to 10,000 people at Manchester Arena for Monster Jam as BMX riders and monster truck drivers zoomed around him.
Jamie has interviewed celebrities, including Jodie Comer, Mel C, Cuba Gooding Jr, Mel Gibson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Paul Mescal and Vicky Pattison.
As a journalist, he covered the theatre beat for The Stage newspaper, with multiple front-page stories to his name, and covered all things TV for Daily Express, including the European premieres of Disney and Marvel’s Moon Knight and Prime Video’s Wheel of Time. He has covered the US culture scene for Newsweek and entertainment as a whole for Digital Spy, Arts Professional and Entertainment Daily.
His podcast, The Business of Show Business, has been listened to in 48 countries, and for years, he entertained on the airwaves for Riverside Radio.
As a performer, Jamie danced in seasons one and two of the Netflix hit Bridgerton, has backing danced on The Voice in Ireland and can be seen dancing in movies such as Horrible Histories: The Movie – Rotten Romans and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
When he is not covering the showbiz world he can still often be found enjoying a large popcorn at the cinema.
