About Tessa Hood
Tessa has been modelling since 1969. Over the years in her career as a professional photographic model, Tessa has appeared in over 100 commercials, including Kellogs Special K (5x in various countries), Oil of Olay,(again refilmed in Australia and for America), Schlitz Beer for the USA, National Air Conditioners, Avon Cosmetics, Tweed Perfum, British Telecom, Panasonic, Marie Curie, and many more.
Recent jobs include working trips away for Viking Cruises and TravelSphere in Sicily.
She also appeared in a leading role on stage in a Farce with Richard O’Sullivan (Robins Nest, Man About the House) for the summer season in Bournemouth, and then again in Boeing Boeing for the English Speaking Theatre of Sweden.
She was leading lady in a Spanish musical comedy movie (currently the most watched on Spanish TV). She also appeared in Anglia TV’s Join Us For Bridge – still available on YouTube.
Of course as a model she appeared in countless magazines and catalogues for all the leading mail order stores, (Littlewoods, Freemans, etc) and was a favourite poster-girl for M & S in their instore advertising and packaging.
She is able to present, and has been an ‘expert’ presenter on QVC for Gale Hayman, a cosmetic for older women.
Tessa’s French is close to fluent.
